Ah -- I reallydislike it when people get so easily miffed that a band tries out different styles or themes with their music, claiming they've "given into the hype" or "gone mainstream". First of all, good music is good music, popular or unpopular -- if it's not your cup of tea, fine, but that doesn't make it piss-poor in the grand scheme of things.

WHAT MADE YOU JOIN ER: //iNHALES DEEPLY. Well you see friends I knew Adry back when I frequently roleplayed Lightning and I had a heart attack because thiS WONDERFUL LIGHTNING WANTED TO TALK TO ME??? WHAT??? And thus I discovered ER through one of its mods and just ha d to join and I am very glad I did.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE MUSE(S) YOU CURRENTLY HAVE AFFILIATED: I chose Revy because, to be really honest, she’s a bamf and I wanted to ensure I kept her active. This’ll probably actually work once I’m out of high school because friends getting up at five am every weekday is very draining. I chose Heather because she’s the more down-to-earth of the two and, despite what she’s been through, is the most emotionally and mentally resilient. I felt it was a good balance for me personally.
WHAT MUSES DO YOU HAVE AFFILIATED: Revy and Heather .
FAVORITE HEADCANON YOU HAVE FOR YOUR MUSE: Well I have this headcanon that despite her detachment with others, Revy frequently engages in one-night-stands. Why? So she can be the one to leave. Nine times out of ten she’s also got the higher alcohol tolerance as well, as she’s been drinking heavily since a very young age. Thus, both factors ensure she’s in control of a male – or female – in even the most intimate of ways. Even though it’s no longer all that intimate for her, just a means to a psychological and physical end.
EVENT OF MUSES CANON STORY THAT IS YOUR FAVORITE: Deff the part of the early episodes when her and Rock reach a boiling point, and he tells her she resembles the businessmen he hated with such a passion; demanding he apologize for things he didn’t do, and using him as a tool to gain more profit. She screams at him not to act as if he knows a shred of what she’s been through, and he very calmly retorts that he doesn’t know – but she knows little about him as well. He also exposes a side of her that she herself was purposefully hiding, even from herself; the side of her that realizes what she’s doing is wrong and self-destructive, and that she’s stuck in a cycle of masochistic self-pity.
It reaches its peak when she fires at him, and he moves the gun slightly at the last minute; and as she pulls the trigger, her shrill, gruff scream pierces the air:
“IT’S ALL I KNOW HOW TO DO!”
And for a moment it just sort of dawns on you, on him, and on her that she’s sunk into this pattern out of familiarity. Something about that just really strikes me as a powerful moment, that someone’s life could have been so bad that violence and murder has consistently been what they considered their “only way out”.
I want a toxic relationship. I want someone that has the upper hand over my muse, because god knows that’s a rarity in its own. I want possessiveness. And control issues. Intensity.
